Cocopeat

Description

Wellgrower Cocopeat is an organic, renewable resource used widely in agriculture and horticulture for its excellent water retention, aeration, and nutrient-holding capabilities. Cocopeat has a fibrous texture and can be used as a soil amendment, potting mix ingredient, or growing medium in hydroponics.

Dosage:

  • Mix 30-50% cocopeat with other potting mix components (such as perlite, vermiculite, or compost.
  • Cocopeat to the planting hole (approximately 30-50% cocopeat mixed with existing soil) to help retain moisture around the root zone.

Cocopeat, also known as coir pith or coir dust, is a byproduct of the coconut industry derived from the husks of coconuts.
